Ms. Angela Arrington
Pianist

 The Augusta Chorale salutes Ms. Angela Arrington, our long-time and dedicated accompanist. Ms. Arrington is a native Augustan who had an early interest in music and was able to play various tunes she heard at age two. She could play with both hands by the age of five. Ms. Arrington recognized her extraordinary talent and took advantage of these musical attributes.

She studied piano at Turner/Baldwin School of Music so that she could nurture her God-given talent. Later, she was introduced to the Connors who taught her private piano lessons.

She is a graduate of Richmond Hill SDA Elementary and Glenn Hills High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in music from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama. While in college, she sang in two choirs and was an accompanist for various groups, organizations, and college functions.

Ms. Arringrton has participated in programs that included recording artists Dottie Peoples, Jessye Norman, Michael Young, and James Bignon. She is a member of the Ebenezer Second Day Adventist Church where she accompanies the choirs of the church as organist and pianist.
